Re-modelling Jewellery
It is very common to have gold gem-set jewellery sitting in a jewellery box you no longer wear for one reason or another. Or you have a treasured piece left to you from a loved one that may not be your style. There may be a coloured stone or diamond ring of sentimental value to you which could be used in a new piece. This service is suited for a more simpler piece, one that the stone/s are the hero. Sylvia will guide you in working out what designs will be suitable for the gemstones and could include an idea from her curated collections in her online shop.
Please note: Sylvia has, in the past re-alloyed or melted down old gold to be used in a commission piece. This service will only be offered if the piece is suitable. As an alternative, selling the old gold to the metal merchant for recycling may be an option. The funds from this can go towards the making of your piece. There is an additional fee for this service.
