  • The best way to get an accurate size is to make an appointment with Sylvia to be fitted correctly or go into a jewellery shop or gallery to have your finger sized accurately. You may also purchase a plastic ring size from the online shop. Keep in mind that it’s normal for your fingers to change in size with heat and time of day; aim for an average size that accommodates these variations.

  • A ring purchased from Sylvia Nevistic can be re-sized within 6 weeks of the purchase date for no fee. After that date the ring can still be re-sized, but at a fee. Please email info@sylvianevistic.com to confirm costs and timeframes.

  • In the case of general wear and tear and if the item is returned to Sylvia (at your cost) within 6 months of the purchase date Sylvia will do this free of charge. After that repairs incur a fee. It is always best to contact Sylvia first to discuss your needs. Please note, she does not repair other jewellers jewellery, only her own designs.

  • Yes, Sylvia can re-model old jewellery that you have, but it may not be suitable to melt down some metals or use certain stones. It is best to make an appointment with Sylvia to discuss your options info@sylvianevistic.com

  • Soak your piece in warm soapy water and clean with a soft cloth. Please do not use harsh chemicals to clean your piece as some stones are porous and can be damaged in this process. Sylvia is more than happy to see your pieces once a year for a clean and to check stones are still set firmly in place for a small fee.

  • Sylvia spends a great deal of time making sure each and every piece she makes is finely crafted and made with quality materials. She truly wants you to be happy with your purchase, so if there is a problem please contact her immediately so the situation can be remedied.

    All ready to wear, made to order and bespoke custom or commissioned pieces are FINAL SALE and returns and refunds will not be accepted.

    Deposits for bespoke commission pieces are strictly non-refundable and any changes made to the design once an order has been confirmed will incur further charges to the client.

    Please choose items from the online shop carefully, if you have any questions about a particular piece, please get in touch with Sylvia and she can provide more information about a piece to help you with making your decision.

  • All ready to ship orders from the online shop will be shipped in 3 business days.

    All made to order pieces will be made by Sylvia within 2-4 weeks of the order being placed and then shipped in 3-5 business days after that, so allow 5 weeks for made to order work to be shipped.

    Custom or bespoke pieces take anywhere between 6-12 weeks to be made depending on the complexity and then will be shipped to you.

    In all cases you will be notified of when your items have been shipped and any tracking information will be supplied.

  • Sylvia ships nationally via Australia Post using Express Post.

    International deliveries are shipped using Express Courier International (Australia Post). You will need to sign for your parcel on delivery.

    Postage is $15 Australia-wide (Express Shipping). The shipping rate will be calculated and added to your sale at the checkout.

    There is a flat rate of $50 for international shipping.

  • Yes, the shipping options are located at the checkout on the online shop.

    Any customs or import duty charges upon delivery are solely the responsibility of the customer. Any subsequent carrier handling fees as a result of custom charges are also the responsibility of the buyer. Sylvia Nevistic has no control over these charges and is unable to tell you what the cost would be as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. For more information on current charges, please contact your local customs office. Estimated delivery timescales do not include any additional customs clearing times beyond my control.

  • Yes, Sylvia does accept PayPal Pay in 4 for online purchases for any value between $30-$1500. Just choose PayPal at checkout and you’ll be redirected to log into your PayPal account.

    How it works

    PayPal Pay in 4 is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them over time in 4 smaller payments with no interest and no late fees. The first payment is taken at the time of purchase and you pay the balance in 3 payments every two weeks.

    To use PayPal Pay in 4 when shopping with Sylvia Nevistic Jewellery:

    Add your items to cart.

    Select PayPal as your payment method at checkout.

    You’ll be redirected to log into or create a PayPal account and select Pay in 4. Once approved, your first payment will be taken.

    That’s it! Your purchase will be split into the remaining 3 payments, payable every 2 weeks.

    How does the payment schedule work?

    No, there are no sign-up or late fees for using PayPal Pay in 4.

    All you need is a PayPal account with a linked credit or debit card. As it’s backed by PayPal you get the same security and buyer protection (on eligible purchases) you already enjoy from PayPal.

  • All Sylvia Nevistic’c workshops and classes are non-refundable and all workshops and classes need to be paid for in advance, She will not issue a refund under any circumstance.

    But, if you provide more than 7 days notice you can apply for a credit to another class or workshop.

    There is a great deal of preparation, administration and forward planning involved in running classes and workshops, so please make sure you are available for the dates you intend to book into in order to avoid any disappointment.

    In the case where a class or workshop is cancelled by Sylvia due to unforseen circumstances (such as Sylvia being ill) each participant will be given the opportunity to use the course fee for a future class or workshop in the first instance. Sylvia will endeavour to accommodate students as best as she can. Failing that, you will be provided with a full refund.
